Tony Stark, a billionaire industrialist and genius inventor, was injured and imprisoned by terrorists, Stark is forced to create a powerful suit of armor to save his life and escape captivity. Thus from his escape, Iron Man is born, using his advanced technology and intellect to fight villains and protect the world, eventually joining forces with other heroes as a leading member of the Avengers.
