Hack of Pokémon: Emerald Version

The goal of these patches are to speed up gameplay while keeping the core mechanics as vanilla as possible. Improvement hacks tend to introduce big changes like new pokemon, physical/special split, new npcs, and major rebalancing. This hack doesn't do any of that. It gives you a pure Emerald experience, while speeding up the gameplay.

There are 4 versions of this patch. Each one adds on top of the other.
Patch 1:

• Battle animations disabled
• Overworld HM animation disabled
• Running allowed indoors (You must still talk to your mom to get the running shoes)

Patch 2:

• Includes all the changes of patch 1, but with faster underwater surfing (twice as fast now, same speed as running)

Patch 3:

• Includes all the changes of patch 1 and 2, but also disables Pokenav calls. No more random calls slowing down gameplay!

Patch 4, however, is the most vanilla experience. It disables battle animations. That's it, nothing else.
Only apply 1 patch per rom. Do not stack them. Confirmed full everdrive compatibility. Preexisting save files may or may not work. They likely will, but your mileage may vary. Always back up your saves.
To really speed things up go to the menu and always set text to fast, disable battle animations, and switch battle type to set.
