The Weekly Challenges section of GT7's World Circuits comprises a curated set of races, largely drawn from those that already exist but with one seemingly permanent slot for a brand-new "Special Event" race created just for the week. Finishing these races during the seven-day period will earn you extra prizes, with higher rewards the more of them you complete.
We start with one of the lowest-paying races that exists in the game, as the Sunday Cup rolls into Autodrome Lago Maggiore. It's a two-lap race of the incredibly compact Center layout, requiring only that you use a road car, with a winner's payout of just 5,000cr.
A race at Trial Mountain in the Japanese 4WD Challenge 600 is next. Don't worry about the 600 part: it's just a recommended Performance Point (PP) rating if you want a close race, but not mandated. You will, however, need a road or "Professionally Tuned" car from Japan with all four wheels driven for this two-lap race, worth up to 20,000cr for victory.
The next race is one that was added by the 1.54 update last week, so hopefully you haven't already checked it off. It's the Laguna Seca round of the Porsche Cup which requires, as you may have guessed, a Porsche. Whichever car you pick from the brand it must be under the 650PP cap but there's no limitations on how you get there. The five-lap race will win you 80,000cr for victory.
A Special Event pops up next, comprising a one-model event for the NA-generation Mazda MX-5. Or Miata. Or Eunos Roadster. You can pick the road car or the Touring Car for this event, and there's no tuning limit so you can go nuts with engine swaps if you like. There's 120,000cr on the table for winning the five-lap race at the full Fuji Speedway layout, so it may be worth a few repeat runs.
Finally we have a World Touring Car 800 race. You should pretty much know what to expect here, with an 800PP cap, the requirement to use Racing Tires, and an AI grid full of Gr.3 vehicles. It's the ten-lap race at Daytona's Road Course, so you don't need to worry about rain but do keep an eye on tire wear and fuel consumption if you want to take the 154,000cr prize for first place.
Some Six-Star Roulette tickets are in the bonus reward pots this week. There's a Parts ticket for completing any one race and a rare Car ticket — awarding a Brand Central car worth 500,000cr or more (including Invitation-only cars) — for sweeping all five. You'll also score a redeemable 150,000cr ticket for clearing any three races.
You'll need to have completed GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie in order to have access to the Weekly Challenges. The events update at midnight local time on Thursday evenings/Friday mornings, so we'd expect the next set on the morning of Friday December 6.
