The short but intense story of Sony's failed game venture, Concord, continues to unfold. Your beloved Freegunners will return in Secret Level on December 10th, featured in one of the anthology series' 15 episodes. Secret Level's Tim Miller has finally addressed the elephant in the room since the game's terrible launch and subsequent erasure.

In an interview with Rolling Stone (via IGN), Miller, known for Love, Death & Robots, is still processing the whole situation. He had no clue how Concord would be received, and Secret Level has been in development for over three years. Miller mentions there was never any talk of removing the related episode and that the team at Firewalk Studios was wonderful:

"The Concord developers were the nicest, most committed group I've met; I really can't figure out why it didn't succeed. I know they gave it their all, and they're a skilled bunch of artists, so I feel awful for them."

We're eager to see Secret Level and learn about the original narrative vision for the IP. Miller encouraged the developers and praised their created universe:

"I don't regret it being part of the show because I think it's a well-done episode that shows the potential of this world and its characters. If it's the last remnant of that product, I hope the developers feel it somewhat honors the hard work they put into it."
