The Murena 2 is a solid midrange phone with unique hardware switches and an open de-Googled OS. While not perfect, it offers a simple entry point to a more privacy-focused Android ecosystem.

The Garden Path is a labor of love for both developer carrotcake and the player. It targets for a specific audience that is accepting of a slower pace and a soft, cozy vibe.

Recently got interested in trying to find a way to use Borders for GBA games utilizing RetroArch-Wii. I think I've come up with a decent solution... just a warning... it won't be pretty. First, set your Wii and TV/Monitor to 4:3 Aspect Ratio. You can utilize 16:9 but I personally don't use...

This goes over the screws and other pieces within the DSi XL along with differences in screws used on a per-color or per-console basis. There are Five Variations that I am aware of, and to my understanding, they are benign. I originally posted this on Reddit, but I have learned a bit more since...

Fanmade games are always a delight to see, be it original or altogether recreated games made from scratch, and this case, a beloved arcade and SNES classic got such treatment. The original "Final Fight" is a "beat 'em up" game originally released for the arcades back in 1989 with the option to play with two players, and then later ported over to other consoles, such as the SNES, Sega CD and the GBA, with all three versions ranging from slight censored content like GBA port, to severe cut content like the SNES port, which had the playable character Guy, the Industrial area and the two player co-op gameplay removed, and to top it off, censored content as well. A development team going by the name "CFX", which consists of Edmo Caldas, Master Linkuei, Mauro Xavier and Oscar Celestini, have worked to put together an entirely new recreation of the original arcade game made from scratch, without any kind of pre-existing or reverse-engineered code, and managed to get the game working on the original SEGA Genesis / Mega Drive hardware, complete with all its 3 characters, 3 rounds/stages out of the 6 so far, and a survivor and attack modes implemented into the game. Those interested in trying out the WIP build of the homebrew port can find it on Itch.
After almost a year and a half in development and many beta versions, Aria of Sorrow Reprise v1.0 is now released! Reprise is a roguelike mod for Aria of Sorrow with a procedurally generated castle along with custom rooms, extensive new features, effects and re-balancing. Explore randomized areas, clear rooms, and then fight the boss to advance the game. Experiment with new equipment and soul abilities, with changes documented in-game with the '~' character. There are many more details in the readme, but it is easy to jump in and play! This mod is targeted to both beginners and experienced players with 4 difficulties, and does not require any previous map knowledge due to it's progression system and map generation. It's also very replayable, just use a different filename to generate a different castle. This has been a rewarding project that a lot of effort was put into - huge thanks to everyone who has played it and provided feedback to get to this point. Enjoy this latest release! Download Page
