News 1996's Original 'Broken Sword' Is Getting Remastered For Xbox This September

We're a little bit late on this one, but we know that certain members of the GP community are very keen to pick up Broken Sword - Shadow of the Templars: Reforged on Xbox consoles next month, so let's talk about it!

This is an enhanced version of the original Broken Sword from all the way back in 1996, which itself has never appeared on Xbox before. The difference this time around is that you get 4K remastered visuals along with upgraded audio.

If you've never heard of it, Broken Sword - Shadow of the Templars: Reforged is a point-and-click adventure featuring an engrossing story, fully-voiced dialogue and a fair few challenging puzzles (The Goat Puzzle, anyone?).

As has become common with remasters of point-and-click titles, there's also a new optional interface with a few redesigned elements including subtle hints for the puzzles - but you don't have to use this if you don't want to.
