Saber Interactive has announced that its upcoming movie-to-game adaptation, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, is officially launching for Xbox Series X and S on October 17th, 2024.
The publisher has confirmed this via the game's new trailer, which we've placed up above for your viewing pleasure. They're getting this one out just in time for Halloween then, which will hopefully bode well for the spooky title this fall!
"Experience the journey of a young woman struggling to endure not only the nightmarish creatures of the apocalypse, but also the anguish of interpersonal family conflicts and her own inner fears. With nothing more than your wits and the simple tools you can scavenge, you'll have to overcome the many treacherous challenges and obstacles that lay ahead, all while trying to survive an ever-present threat of the unknown enemies."
The video game adaptation of this popular film series was actually announced almost three years ago at this point, with an initial 2022 release date planned. However, things went quiet for a while, before The Road Ahead was officially titled and reintroduced to the world earlier this year.
Remothered developer Stormind Games is working on this one, and we're definitely intrigued to see how the studio does with what is now growing into a major horror IP. Get loud for now, because things are going ultra quiet on Xbox come October 17!
