News Age Of Mythology: Retold's Latest Update Includes A Brand-New Game Mode

Age of Mythology: Retold just got new free content, only months after its Xbox and PC launch. The game now has an "Arena of the Gods" mode.

This mode lets you play as Kastor in 35 skirmish missions "full of mythical wonders and dangers". You can play alone or with a friend. Here's what it's about:

"Be a legendary hero and shape your fate! This new mode has 35 exciting skirmish missions in mythical places with godly tests. Play solo or with a buddy through arenas with World Twists that bring wild weather and old powers! It's time to face the gods – get the latest update for Age of Mythology: Retold and join the Arena of the Gods!"

While Age of Mythology: Retold isn't talked about much, players still enjoy it. It has a "Very Positive" rating on Steam, and we gave it a "Great" 8/10 score on Pure Xbox in August.

There's talk that expansions might come if fans want them. Let's hope Age of Mythology: Retold keeps growing with more new content as time goes on!
