Weekly Challenges in GT7 is a curated set of races, mostly drawn from those you can find in the World Circuits area but now with a seemingly permanent slot for a "Special Event" race created just for the week. Finishing these races during the week's window will earn you extra prizes, with higher rewards the more of them you complete.
This week's lowest-paying race takes longer to type than to race. It's a three-lap run around Tokyo Expressway South Counterclockwise in the Japanese Clubman Cup 550, which requires you to use any road or "professionally tuned" car from a Japanese brand. Victory is worth 20,000cr.
The Rallycross course at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya makes a second appearance in a timed event this month, with the WTC600 event at the mixed-surface circuit. It's a six-lap race — plus the weird joker start — for any car under a 600PP (Performance Point) limit and equipped with Dirt tires, with 45,000cr for winning.
Only slightly more valuable is the new Jimny Cup race at Grand Valley South. You'll need to have at least started the equivalent Bonus Menu Book to see this race, which requires you to use either of the two Jimny models and offers a 47,000cr prize if you win the three-lap sprint.
The Porsche Cup makes another appearance, and not with the newly added race but an existing one at Autodrome Lago Maggiore's Full layout. You'll need a Porsche, of course, with a 650PP limit that you can hit however you like. It's a five-lap race with 70,000cr for taking the win.
Finally we have this week's Special Event, and it's quite the race. The official title is the "World Group C Racing Championship" and as you might guess it's a race for the Group C cars from the Gr.1 class: the Mazda 787B, Mercedes Sauber C9, Nissan R92CP, and Porsche 962C.
Or at least that's what the AI uses. There's no actual limitation on what you can enter with, for this six-lap race around the 24 Heures du Mans Racing Course — or Circuit de la Sarthe, as it was known in older GT games — without the chicanes on the Hunaudieres. Win the six-lap race and you'll earn 140,000cr.
It's another stack of credit tickets for the rewards this week, which you'll need to redeem from your garage's "Gifts" section. Complete any one race for a 100,000cr ticket, any three for a 200,000cr ticket, and grab a 500,000cr ticket when you complete all five.
You'll need to have completed GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie in order to have access to the Weekly Challenges. The events update at midnight local time on Thursday evenings/Friday mornings, so we'd expect the next set on the morning of Friday November 22.
