The Weekly Challenges comprise a curated set of five events, largely drawn from existing races in World Circuits but sometimes (and more frequently in recent weeks) offering up a Special Event created just for the seven-day window. You'll earn bonus rewards for completing these events during the week they're available too.
This week brings one such Special Event, through a one-make challenge for the BAC Mono single-seater road car made in Liverpool, UK. You might be familiar with the car through a special, one-hour challenge in The Human Comedy Missions, but this is a short, five-lap race for the Mono. There's few requirements for the race at Brands Hatch GP Circuit other than the car itself, but don't go overboard on upgrades as it's worth just 65,000cr for victory.
Still, that's the third-best payout this week. The Sunday Cup Classic event at Tsukuba, a three-lap run for Road Cars, is worth 25,000cr for the win and as it's open to pretty much anything you shouldn't feel too guilty about smurfing it to get it over and done with.
Another relatively stingy event is the Japanese Clubman Cup 550 at the 24h layout of Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. It's another three-lap affair but awards just 30,000cr, which is very little considering the length of the race. You'll need to use a Road or Professionally Tuned vehicle from Japan for the race, but the 550PP of the event's name is just a suggestion rather than a limit.
Kyoto Driving Park Yamagiwa awaits for a five-lap race in the Porsche Cup. As the name suggests, it's open to any Porsche vehicle at all, but this time there is a Performance Point cap at 650PP. There's no other restrictions, so how you get that PP rating is up to you, but you'll take 70,000cr if you win.
That leaves the World Touring Car 800 race at Fuji International Speedway. This is a mixed-conditions race for cars equipped with Racing Tires and up to a hard cap of 800PP. There's no guarantee of rain, but most of the time we run this ten-lap race there's at least a shower at some point so make sure you have Intermediate and Wet tires (although usually full Wets aren't required) available for your car if you want the 140,000cr winner's prize.
Completion rewards are a little more varied this week. There's 100,000cr and 200,000cr tickets for completing one and three events respectively — and remember that you'll need to redeem these from your garage's Gifts section to add the credits to your in-game bank account. Finishing all five awards a regular Six-Star Roulette ticket which is most commonly worth 500,000cr, though may give other rewards.
You'll need to have completed GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie in order to have access to the Weekly Challenges. The events update at midnight local time on Thursday evenings/Friday mornings, so we'd expect the next set on the morning of Friday August 16.
