The release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been blocked in Kuwait, just days before the game's global launch on October 25th. Activision, the publisher of the game, confirmed that it will not be available for release in Kuwait and that all pre-orders in the country will be cancelled and refunded.

According to the statements from Activision, the decision was made by Kuwaiti authorities, who have not approved the game for release in the region. While Activision did not provide specific reasons, it is believed that the game's storyline, which is set during the Gulf War of the early 1990s, may have been a factor in the ban. The conflict began when Iraq invaded Kuwait, and the game's portrayal of this sensitive historical event likely raised concerns with the Kuwaiti government.

Activision expressed hope that the Kuwaiti authorities will reconsider their decision and allow players in the country to experience the latest entry in the Black Ops series. However, for now, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will not be available for purchase or play in Kuwait.

This news is disappointing for gamers in Kuwait who were looking forward to the game's release. Activision's decision to refund all pre-orders suggests that the company does not expect the ban to be lifted in time for the launch. While the game will still release globally on October 25th, a significant portion of the player base will be unable to access it.
