SEGA has announced that it will be delisting 12 Xbox games from the Microsoft Store on December 6, 2024. This decision affects several classic titles, including:

1. Crazy Taxi
2. Golden Axe
3. Virtua Fighter 2
4. Altered Beast
5. NiGHTS into dreams...
6. Sega Bass Fishing
7. Sega Mega Drive & Genesis Classics
8. Sega Vintage Collection: Streets of Rage
9. Sega Vintage Collection: Monster World
10. Sega Vintage Collection: ToeJam & Earl
11. Shinobi
12. Sonic the Fighters

"Select games and bundles will be delisted from virtual stores, becoming unavailable for new purchases. Your owned games will still be available in your library."

It's important to note that if you already own any of these games, they will remain in your library and you'll still be able to download and play them after the delisting date.

This move is part of a larger delisting effort by SEGA, which affects not only Xbox but also PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Steam platforms. In total, more than 60 games across various platforms will be removed from digital storefronts.

SEGA has not provided a specific reason for the delistings. However, it's worth mentioning that the company is currently working on reboots of some classic games, including Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio. This decision could potentially be related to these upcoming projects or plans for new collections of classic games.

If you're interested in purchasing any of these titles, you'll need to do so before December 6, 2024. After that date, they will no longer be available for new purchases on the Xbox digital store.
