Former cities known for tourist attractions have become decayed cityscapes that are playgrounds of destruction, ranging from Berlin's desert to Paris' urban jungle. You will fight relentless waves of enemies at these locations — each with strategic layouts, obstacles, and hazards. Some enemies are simple minions, but others are heavily armoured mechanical beasts that will give you a real run for your money. Massive bosses require special attention to timing and use of your vehicle's abilities.
You can enhance your art-deco-inspired futuristic fighting machine through abilities, weapons, or new crew members. Essential upgrades and repairs are available for the vehicle, but you'll also want to synergize equipment combinations to create a devastating combat machine.
Borja Fernández, Founder of and Programmer/Designer at indie developer Stunbyte, describes the motivation behind Driveloop in a press release, saying, "Our passion for roguelikes and survivor-style games inspired us to explore fresh ground in a genre we love. Creating a game we genuinely wanted to play has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding."
Developed and published by Stunbyte, Driveloop will be released for PC via Steam in April 2025.
