BioWare's confirmed that it'll be handing eager fans a full date roughly 24 hours from the posting of this article. Just to be clear, it'll be announced on the 15th August at 9pm Pacific / 12pm Eastern / 5pm UK / 6pm Central Europe. We're also getting a new trailer to celebrate the occasion.
Hilariously, this tease means that the developer has now announced this announcement twice, with the previous announcement telling everyone that a release date would be announced in August. Oh no, we've typed out various forms of 'announce' so many times that it's starting to lose all meaning...
What's more, BioWare has promised what sounds like a pretty deep dive into The Veilguard over the coming weeks and months. "High-level warrior combat gameplay" is locked in, along with a big look at companion characters, "and more".
Previously, Dragon Age: The Veilguard had been rumored to release in October — and that kind of timeline would still make a lot of sense. In any case, we'll know for sure by this time tomorrow.
