Elden Ring is one of the best games to be released in this generation and that's saying something considering it's from developer FromSoftware who has already brought us the likes of Bloodborne, Demon's Souls and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice to name a few.
Next month, Elden Ring fans are in for a treat with the arrival of the highly anticipated expansion Shadow of the Erdtree offering more ways for players to be slain by epic bosses. That being said, players will easily be slain by random grunts, after all, we expect nothing less from a FromSoftware title.
However, if you wanted an edge to help slay the monsters of the Lands Between, then recruiting the services of Kratos from the God of War series shouldn't harm your chances. If that sounds like your kind of recruitment plan, then look no further than this God of War mod created by MarkusRollo for Elden Ring which is available for free right now via NexusMods.
This mod not only brings a young Kratos that looks similar to the one featured in God of War: Ascension and God of War III but also his iconic Blades of Chaos weapon as well as a custom move-set, weapon skill and more.
As fans of God of War would expect, the Blades of Chaos will be a two-handed weapon with this Elden Ring mod. The Blades of Chaos also scale Dexterity, Faith and Strength. As for the Weapon Skill, it's called 'Spartan Slam' which does what it says on the tin, it slams enemies to death.
Unfortunately, as is the nature of most mods, this God of War mod is exclusive to the PC version of Elden Ring. The Elden Ring expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree is released on PC, PlayStation and Xbox on 21 June 2024.
