Nintendo has announced that the classic Nintendo 64 game Banjo-Tooie will be added to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service on October 25th, 2024. This marks the latest expansion of the N64 game library available to Switch Online subscribers.
Banjo-Tooie is the sequel to the popular Banjo-Kazooie game, and features the bear and bird duo in another adventure filled with "magical minigames, perplexing puzzles, and freaky foes" across various stages. The game will be available to play with features like widescreen support.
This addition to the Switch Online N64 library is sure to excite fans of the Rare-developed Banjo games, who have been hoping to see more of the classic N64 titles come to the service. With Banjo-Tooie joining the lineup, Nintendo continues to steadily expand the retro offerings for its premium Switch Online subscription.
