The mind-bending isekai Re:ZERO - Starting Life in Another World is back for its third season. Last time, Subaru and his allies emerged victorious from a major battle, healed some relationships, and enjoyed a rare moment of peace. White Fox, known for hits like Steins; Gate and Akame ga Kill!, returns to produce Season 3. While it's been nice to see familiar faces, don't be surprised if some unsettling chaos unfolds as the season progresses. Catch Re:ZERO - Starting Life in Another World Season 3 now on Crunchyroll.

Blue Box (Netflix)

Craving a fresh romantic slice-of-life this autumn? Look no further than Blue Box! This series centers on Inomata, a badminton enthusiast who frequently encounters Kano, a popular basketball player at their school. Fate takes an unexpected turn when Kano moves in with Inomata's family to continue her basketball career in the country. With Inomata already harboring feelings, living under the same roof as his crush sets the stage for delightfully awkward situations. Telecom Animation Film, known for their work on Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro and Orange, is spearheading the production, promising an engaging romance throughout the season. Blue Box is ready for streaming on Netflix.

Yakuza Fiancé: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii (Crunchyroll)

For another dose of romance, the rom-com Yakuza Fiancé is making its debut this fall. The story revolves around Somei, a Yakuza leader's granddaughter, who finds herself in an arranged marriage with a member of an allied Yakuza family. Initial conversations with her fiancé go well, but his interest soon wanes. Determined to make things work, Somei taps into her tough side, unexpectedly rekindling his interest. Let the chaos begin! Studio Deen, renowned for KonoSuba and Fate/stay night, is handling the animation, so viewers can anticipate some entertaining sequences in this adaptation. Yakuza Fiancé: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii is now available on Crunchyroll.

Ranma ½ (Netflix)

The beloved classic Ranma ½ is making a comeback with a fresh remake! The original anime aired from 1989 to 1992, marking over three decades since its initial adaptation. For newcomers, the series follows Ranma, a young martial artist thrust into an arranged marriage to secure a dojo's future. While this rom-com setup feels familiar this season, Ranma's unique curse adds a twist – cold water transforms him into a girl, while hot water reverts him to his male form. MAPPA, the studio behind Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man, is handling the animation production for this remake. The enhanced fight scenes already showcase their expertise. So far, the 2024 remake closely follows the original adaptation, offering both new and long-time fans a visually stunning reimagining of this classic tale. The Ranma ½ remake is now streaming on Netflix.

Beastars Final Season Part 1 (Netflix | TBA 2024)

The long-awaited conclusion to Beastars is on the horizon with part one of its final season! This unique series centers on Legoshi, a wolf grappling with his feelings for a rabbit while battling his predatory instincts. After a few years' hiatus, fans are eager to see how Legoshi's journey wraps up. Studio Orange, renowned for their work on Trigun: Stampede and Land of the Lustrous, returns to finish the series, promising top-tier 3D animation. While an exact release date is yet to be announced, Beastars Final Season Part 1 is set to debut on Netflix sometime this year. Stay tuned for more updates!

Uzumaki (Adult Swim, MAX)

The long-anticipated adaptation of Junji Ito's Uzumaki has finally arrived. This horror series follows Kirie, a schoolgirl in a town plagued by bizarre spiral phenomena. First announced in 2019, the wait has been considerable. Production I.G., known for Attack on Titan and Vinland Saga Season 1, leads the project with support from studios Fugaku and Akatsuki. While the series started strong, subsequent episodes have raised eyebrows with their animation quality. Despite this setback, fans are curious to see how the story concludes. Uzumaki is now streaming on Adult Swim and MAX.

Dan Da Dan (Crunchyroll, Netflix, Hulu)

Another highly anticipated series, Dan Da Dan, has made its debut. The story revolves around Momo, a ghost believer, and Ken, an alien enthusiast. Their debate over the existence of supernatural entities leads to a life-altering bet. Science SARU, the studio behind Devilman Crybaby and Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!, brings their signature style to this adaptation. Viewers can expect visually striking and unconventional animation as the season progresses. Dan Da Dan is currently available for streaming on Crunchyroll, Netflix, and Hulu.

Dragon Ball DAIMA (Crunchyroll, Netflix, Hulu)

The beloved Goku and his companions make their triumphant return in Dragon Ball DAIMA. This fresh installment marks the first since the passing of the legendary creator Akira Toriyama - may he rest in peace. The series kicks off with some cunning new characters reflecting on Goku's journey, particularly focusing on the Majin Buu Saga. Fearing the mighty Saiyans, these Demon Realm antagonists set their sights on Earth's Dragon Balls, aiming to make our heroes younger and supposedly harmless. So far this season, this predicament doesn't seem to faze Goku, Vegeta, and the gang much, given their extensive history of overcoming challenges. One thing's certain, though: We can anticipate some breathtaking, action-packed battles as they strive to regain their normal forms throughout the season. Dragon Ball DAIMA is now streaming on Crunchyroll, Netflix, and Hulu.
