Black Myth: Wukong has been a heck of a story so far, hasn't it? We've had conflicted reports about the reasoning behind the game's Xbox delay, followed by a super impressive launch where the title exploded in popularity. Having said all that, we didn't know it had been this popular...

Coming out of Tokyo Game Show this week, we're seeing that the Chinese action game has sold 20 million copies in a month. Yes, 20 million copies across two platforms for a brand-new IP - that just seems nuts to us.

As we already alluded to up above, the Xbox version of Black Myth: Wukong has been a walking controversy for months now. We played a PC build back in the summer — writing up a glowing review of our time with the game — but developer Game Science put the Xbox version on hold indefinitely.

While we're still waiting for that Xbox launch date, feel free to check out our PC preview down below for some initial PX thoughts on an early build of Black Myth: Wukong. Hopefully, we get that Xbox date soon, but it sounds like the game has been doing mighty fine with just PS5 and PC as its launch platforms.
