The Call of Duty franchise has unveiled three new multiplayer maps that will be included in the upcoming Black Ops 6 Season 1 release on November 14, 2024. The new maps are:
1. **Hideout**: A tactical, slightly smaller map featuring a central building with plenty of vehicles and cover around it.
2. **Extraction**: A larger map set on a beach, with a helicopter hangar as the central area. This map is designed for traditional 6v6 game modes.
3. **Heirloom**: Likely set in a museum, this map features a large central hall as the main area of action. It will also be implemented in the 2v2 Faceoff playlists.
These three new maps, along with the previously released Nuketown map, will bring the total number of multiplayer maps in Black Ops 6 to 20 when Season 1 launches. The new maps are expected to be part of a "colossal amount of free content" being added to the game, which will also include new modes and a new Zombies map.
Additionally, the Season 1 update will mark the first appearance of the new Black Ops 6 Omnimovement system in Call of Duty: Warzone, allowing players to use their Black Ops 6 weapons and loadouts in the battle royale game.
