Sid Meier's Civilization 7, the next major entry in the storied strategy franchise, has had its release date leaked. This comes just hours before the game is set to appear during Gamescom Opening Night Live where, presumably, the date is due to be officially announced.
Coming to PS5, the game has thus far been confirmed for 2025, but reliable leaker billbil-kun has spilled the beans on the full release date:
If this is to be believed (and billbil-kun has gotten many things right in the past), Civilization 7 will release on 11th February, 2025. Furthermore, it'll be available in both a standard and deluxe edition, with the latter giving you five days of early access. So, if you buy that version, the release date essentially changes to 6th February.
We imagine these details will be announced properly during the showcase later today. Are you excited for Civ 7? Tell us in the comments section below.
