KRAFTON's highly anticipated life simulation game InZoi, often compared to The Sims, has been delayed. Originally slated for a 2024 release, the game's early access launch is now set for March 28, 2025.
Game director and producer Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim explained the delay in a message to the community, stating that the extra time will allow the team to build "a stronger foundation for InZoi." This decision was made after analyzing feedback from the game's demo and various playtests.
The delay aims to provide players with "the most complete experience possible" at launch. Despite the setback, InZoi remains a highly anticipated title, currently ranking as the 12th most wishlisted game on Steam.
For fans of life simulation games, InZoi represents one of the few upcoming competitors to The Sims, especially after the cancellation of Paradox Interactive's Life by You. KRAFTON plans to continue providing updates as InZoi progresses towards its new early access release date.
