News Microsoft Xbox is set to present a new 'Partner Preview' event this week.

Since the Xbox format was introduced last year, we've had the opportunity to attend two Xbox Partner Preview events in the last year and are looking forward to another one this week, this time focusing solely on third-party games.

So, make sure to set a reminder for this date and time - Thursday, October 17th at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST!

The most recent Xbox Partner Preview took place in March, where we were introduced to games like Unknown 9: Awakening, The Sinking City 2, and The Alters, and even got a sneak peek at Stalker: Legends of the Zone Trilogy's shadow drop.

Here's what Xbox is promising for this October 2024 edition of the event:

"In this latest edition, we'll showcase a variety of new and upcoming games from amazing partners such as Remedy Entertainment, Sega, 505 Games, and more..."

"During the Xbox Partner Preview, attendees will have the chance to experience gameplay from Alan Wake II's upcoming expansion, The Lake House, an exciting new trailer for Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, a look at various bosses in the dark-fantasy action game Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, several world premieres, and other fantastic titles coming to Xbox consoles, Windows PC, and Game Pass."

Remember, Xbox Partner Previews are designed to be brief and focused - the last ones we attended were about 30 minutes long. We can expect announcements, new trailers, and possibly an Xbox Game Pass surprise or two!
