The Sega Saturn is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and as part of the celebrations, Sega is reissuing the soundtrack for the cult classic action game Burning Rangers. The 2-CD set will be supervised by Naofumi Hataya, one of the game's original composers, and will include a remastered version of the full soundtrack as well as remixes, an unreleased demo track, and karaoke versions.
The soundtrack is set to release on November 22nd, 2024 in Japan, the same date as the original Sega Saturn launch. Sadly, there has been no announcement yet on whether the soundtrack will be made available outside of Japan, so international fans may have to import it if they want to get their hands on a copy.
Burning Rangers was developed by Sonic Team and released for the Sega Saturn in 1998. It was known for its high-energy soundtrack that perfectly complemented the game's fast-paced firefighting action. This reissue will give fans a chance to relive the music of this cult classic title as part of the Sega Saturn's 30th anniversary celebrations.
