Given that Phantom Liberty is set to be the game's only expansion, its release last year marked the end of an era.
Fair to say that between Phantom Liberty and Update 2.0, developers have finally delivered on the vision they once promised.
The last couple of years have been transformative for Cyberpunk 2077 and while no further expansions are on the way, executive producer Maciej Włodarkiewicz did tease something following last week's BAFTA Best Evolving game win.
"I don't want to promise anything but definitely, Cyberpunk is deep in our hearts and if we find any reasonable way to keep it up, we will," he told us. We'll take that.
Take a look at Cyberpunk 2077's Phantom Liberty expansion in action below.
Whilst we await something official from CD Projekt RED, those playing Cyberpunk 2077 on PC may want to turn to mods to spice up their gameplay experience.
If you're looking for new quests to keep you busy then the 'Missing Persons - Fixer's Hidden Gems' mod could be just the thing for you.
Created by NexusMods user Darkcopse, the mod adds 194 new Fixer gigs which should be more than enough to keep you busy.
"This mod adds 194 new Fixer gigss with over 400 new SMS messages to walk you through finding the 194 Hidden Gems built into the vanilla game. They will be given one at a time by their respective district's Fixer and provide a map waypoint to help find the goal. Offers Euros, XP, and SC for gig completion," the description reads.
The mod has already been downloaded almost 400,000 times - its success a testament to its quality.
It's totally free to download so if you are a PC player, you really have nothing to lose.
