An English version of the Hokuto no ken for mega drive, the sega localisation "Last Battle" had removed the blood and the Fist of the North Star license.
This is more than a simple translation, the text was adapted straight from the anime as the original text took a lot of liberties.
Also, as the original game was kind of bad, a massive overhaul and rebalancing were done to hopefully make the game a bit more enjoyable. Graphical fixes, changes to some broken physics and some enemy placement were also done.
There is still a lot of room for improvement still, but the patch is a state that could be made public already.
